Peaceful Autumn Beach

These are the times of dreamy quietude, when beholding the tranquil beauty and brilliancy of the ocean’s skin, one forgets the tiger heart that pants beneath it. ~Herman Melville

The old man always thought of her as feminine, as something that gave or withheld great favors. If she did wild or wicked things, it is because she could not help them. The moon affects her as it does a woman, he thought. ~Ernest Hemingway

Wishing you all a lovely peaceful day,

I really love the photo of you at the top of the post. So beautiful. We rarely get to a beach, but when we do Fall is my most favorite time to be there. It’s cooler. The huge crowds are gone. And it’s just us, the water, and the sand. So peaceful. So relaxing. I’m hoping retirement brings us closer to a coastline :-)
