In LA LA Land! {Dole Cookoff}

Hi from LA guys! My cute little skull Vans and I boarded a couple of planes this morning, finally we have landed on the West Coast. Now some of you might be thinking that I have flown to LA in order to hang out with DS at the surf contest but you would be wrong. Well, only partially. In fact I am out here on a completely unsurf related venture think food instead, fresh tropical cookout kind of food.

Do you remember me mentioning that nice grinning fella pictured above a few days ago, along with some fun to come? Well here’s the deal. At Susan and Paula’s lovely Dole party, they had a big prize from Dole. Win a chance to be a guest judge at their Dole California Cook-off along with Chef Ben Ford, the aforementioned nice fellow up above. Guess whose monkey head won? Oh yeah! Now ask me how nervous I am. Humongous butterflies in the tummy with their own green, queasy butterflies begging for their mama nervous.

Good thing they gave me a big comfy bed. Hello fluffy heaven please hold me.

As I lie here trying to settle, my willies and the butterflies I thought that I would get you all caught up on the fun. Don’t get me wrong I am thrilled and excited but this is a new adventure for me while treading into the unknown. Good news on top of good news…I get to see DS one day while I’m here, yipee!! Get ready for a bazillion more photos and some fun in Cali!! While you are at it could you pretty please cross your fingers that my taste buds show up tomorrow and not the green queasy butterflies. Those guys + food (x someone’s hopes & dreams) = uh oh!
