For The Birds

Sweet moments like this that I happen to capture always bring out the old stagehand in me. A story seems to take root and play out in my mind while I watch the boys strolling along the beach. This time though I am going to let the story unfold for you. I’ll set the stage so to speak and then your imaginations can take it from there. Here we go…

Act 1: For The Birds

Scene 1: The Beach

Center Stage: Two young boys enjoying a day at the beach.

With the ocean growling and the sun burning from above, we were getting anxious. Finding the golden nugget was taking longer than we had anticipated. We had to find it before the brigands made their way to our side of the island or before my brother clobbered me in the head by mistake due to his frazzled nerves.

Scene 2: The Sky

Enter Stage…up? A seagull

But wait what was that!? That’s not a brigand or a pirate. It’s not even a plane…it’s a seagull!

*Audience Takes Over*

*That’s a wrap*

And a joyous day of fun was had by all!

The End

Love and Hugs,

Shari-Tickled Red

Such creative writing! Now I am longing for the beach, the surf…we didn’t make it to the coast this summer. =(
