Summertime! Long awaited days promising hours on end of relaxation, our reward from a winter filled with tedious work right. The occasional enjoyment of a good book, followed by a leisurely evening stroll taking in all of life’s little pleasures.
Maybe even a nice cool refreshing drink as we kick your heels up on the porch, watching the day slowly ease itself into an evening of calm while reflecting on the day and reminiscing over good times. That is how the guys and I like to spend hot summer days, taking it easy sipping on a crisp ginger ale that is bursting with fresh sweet berries. It isn’t over the top or too difficult but it is oh so nice!
There is nothing better than a cheery glass of cool tranquility to wash away the day. Except of course lackadaisical hours swinging in a hammock…laid back and mellow at its best! Summer is officially here so grab a cool Chillin’ Berry Ginger Ale and make the most of it!
Catch you on the porch guys !

Chillin’ Berry Ginger Ale- Makes approx. 4 cups
32 ounces ginger ale
1/2 cup chopped cherries
1/2 cup raspberries
3 slices lemon, quartered
Directions:
Place all of the ingredients in a large mason jar or glass pitcher and refrigerate for at least one hour. The longer you let the berries infuse the ginger ale the sweeter the berry ale.
Pour, relax and enjoy!

What a fun way to dress up ginger ale! As for those alarms…yes, I wish they would go on strike during the summer.
Ginger ale is my absolute favorite drink, and I think this just made it that much sweeter for a hot summer day. Love it!
Muwah! Bring the family, we’ll chill through the summer together :D
Love the simplicity of this summer drink, plus I adore ginger ale!
Simple is wonderful is it not. No strain on the brain works for me :D
