Whenever I used to have one of those beyond frustrating moments at work my friend and employer at the time would find a way to turn that moment around. Whether he had a valuable piece of advice, a joke or decided that we should break for lunch early Dewey would diffuse whatever was making us loose our cookies at the moment. Once he and I were back on track he would always lean over wink, grin and say “Who’s your buddy, who’s your pal?”. I still hear him saying those words when a frustrating moment starts to creep up on me. They never fail to make me smile and rethink my immediate situation.
That quote also makes me think about all of the lovely people that I have had the good fortune to meet or simply enjoy reading since I have stumbled into the world of blogging.
They are now my little dose of Dewey. Reading their stories, walking with them through their personal moments bright or shadowed and sharing a love of togetherness over good food is now an integral part of my week. I don’t get by to visit them as often as I did last year but knowing that they are just a “fingers walk” away is reassuring.
Everyone I read is not listed here as of yet but I figure 50 is a sizable amount when you’re making first introductions between buddies & pals. I promise that I will be adding to the buddy list periodically.
In the meantime I hope that y’all enjoy getting to know one another while I’m at work or making a mess at the house.

Although I did have a moment yesterday thinking that if I ever get the heck out of Dodge (or in my case Denver) I will have to walk into a conference with a big red/pink box on my head with the initials CC to be recognized. Or I guess I could just tell everyone to look for the Amazon…yeah, that would work!
