A Look Back {Happy Anniversary- 17/15}

Seventeen years ago, this man came into my life and changed it for the better, not that my life was bad before I met Surferboy. He simply came along took what was already good and kicked it up a few hundred notches. As you guys know I could go on and on endlessly about my darlin’ but this year I am going to let you guys off the hook. No sappy waxing poetic from me this year or I might break down and cry since he is in Cali. If y’all would like sappy click here.  Rather I thought that you would get a kick out of looking back on our life together through some old grainy photos.

Ahhh, we were such babes when we met. Young love at it’s finest. PS: This photo is the reason I don’t wear fingernail polish any longer. Can we say Vampire Queen!

Strolling through NY, circa 1990 something or other.  I had to share this photo with you because on the back of it is written, “Who is who?” A funny dig at my darlin’s long hair, in all honesty I miss his long hair still. As well as mine…and those legs {sigh}.

Although we love each other madly, sometimes it feels like there is an ocean between us. Har-Har, I crack myself up!

After two years of being together, we finally tied the knot in an elegant and solemn service, until the I do’s were said. After that we made no promises to behave.

First comes love – then comes marriage – then comes a baby in a baby carriage, or two.  One of my all time favorite photos of Surferboy.

Sometimes the photo is out of focus but not the emotion.

This would be my darlin’s favorite photo of us together as we paused for a quick snap in the hills of Ireland seven years ago.

Billy Idol took Ms. Vampire Bait & Peter Pan to a Halloween wedding rehearsal party. *Side Note~ All of Billy’s clothing was borrowed from Ms. Vampire Bait…pants included*

Seventeen years later and we haven’t changed much still goofy, still ecstatically in love with each other as well as life.

Happy Anniversary baby, here’s to another glorious 50 with you!!

Yes, I want to live that long and I can guarantee that he will be rolling his eyes at me after he reads this for wishing us that old.
